SStandard flanges, custom flanges and special flanges in the highest quality and precision

Since its founding in 1934, the company has purposefully developed into a specialised manufacturer and supplier of flanges. The basis for the success of the family managed company, now in its third generation, is the expertise of experienced employees and a production and sales policy aimed at the market requirements.

The product range and manufacturing program covers standard, custom and special flanges in all variations. Today the company, based on its high-grade products, has established itself as a reliable supplier for tank construction and plant engineering, power plant construction and mechanical engineering and for the wind power industry.

History

1936

Foundation of Gebrüder Kiel Flanschenfabrik by Heinrich and Otto Kiel

1939-1942

Expansion of the customer base, shipbuilding and submarine construction

1942-1970

Expansion of the plant machinery with

  • Four bending machines up to diameter 3,500
  • A tri-cone cold bending machine
  • Two butt-compression welders up to 20,000 mm2
  • Diverse convention vertical lathes and face lathes

1970-1990

New construction of a hall for mechanical processing

Alignment of the product range to custom flanges

Purchase of a new face lathe up to 1,800 diameter with IPD PMU

Expansion of the plant machinery with a "Froriep KZ 350/400" double column vertical lathe with a diameter of 4,300 mm and processing height of 1,800 mm
